Questions we hear before someone enrolls

If your question isn't covered here, the contact page reaches our team directly.

No. The course assumes you're comfortable with whatever reporting or spreadsheet tool your team already uses, but it doesn't require formal training in statistics, data visualization, or graphic design. Concepts are introduced through examples rather than theory, and each one is tied back to a business scenario.

Yes, and it's encouraged. The second half of most webinar sessions is set aside for applying the lesson to a real report a participant brings along. If your organization has data confidentiality requirements, you're welcome to substitute a version with sensitive figures masked or replaced.

The course is tool-agnostic. Concepts around structure, chart choice, and audience framing apply whether your reports live in a spreadsheet, a business intelligence platform, or a slide deck. Some exercises reference common chart types found in most reporting tools, but no specific software license is required to participate.

General presentation training tends to focus on delivery: pacing, slide design, vocal tone. This course focuses specifically on the structure and translation of quantitative information, meaning how a dataset gets reshaped for different readers and which visual choices support or undermine a given point. Delivery is covered, but it's one module among several.

Group sessions for a single team or department are available. This format tends to work well because the exercises can reference reporting scenarios that are genuinely familiar to everyone in the room, rather than a mixed group with unrelated reporting contexts.

Yes. Each live session is recorded and made available afterward along with any slide templates used during the walkthrough, so material can be revisited or shared with a colleague who missed the live session.

The contact page includes a short form for inquiries. Include a note on your team size and current reporting format, and we'll follow up with details relevant to your situation rather than a generic reply.
